Through strategic initiatives, community partnerships, and direct support, we are working to create meaningful change, one safe space at a time.
Foster Care - Aging Out of the System
The Margie Barilla Foundation is committed to supporting young people as they transition out of the foster care system and into adulthood. To help bridge this critical gap, we are working toward the opening of Lone Star Treatment Center in Austin, Texas, designed to support youth aging out of foster care.
Our goal is to provide a supportive environment where young adults can access guidance, resources, life-skills development, and continued support as they work toward independence, stability, and a successful future.
Licensed Group Home for Boys
The Margie Barilla Foundation is working to expand access to safe, supportive housing through the development of a licensed group home for boys. This home will provide a stable and nurturing environment for boys in need, including youth impacted by foster care, displacement, and challenging life circumstances.
Through structure, mentorship, compassionate support, and access to essential resources, our goal is to provide a safe place where boys can grow, build confidence, develop life skills, and work toward a stable and successful future.
Licensed Group Home for Girls
The Margie Barilla Foundation is working to expand access to safe, supportive housing through the development of a licensed group home for girls. This home will provide a stable and nurturing environment for girls in need, including youth impacted by foster care, displacement, and other difficult life circumstances.
Through compassionate support, structure, mentorship, and access to essential resources, our goal is to create a place where girls can feel safe, supported, and empowered as they build toward a brighter and more independent future.

Emergency Shelter
The Margie Barilla Foundation is committed to creating safe, supportive homes for displaced foster youth and survivors of human trafficking who need security, stability, and a place to heal. Proceeds from our annual galas directly benefit our efforts to create and support these safe homes, helping provide shelter, essential resources, and compassionate support for vulnerable youth.
Through our fundraising efforts and community partnerships, we are working to build environments where every child can feel protected, supported, and empowered to move toward a brighter future.
Case Management
Through its connection with Calvary Placement Agency, the Margie Barilla Foundation supports access to comprehensive case management services across all 50 states. Calvary’s dedicated team helps coordinate care and resources while ensuring a master treatment plan is developed upon admission and updated as each individual reaches important milestones.
This collaborative approach helps children and families navigate services, stay connected to appropriate resources, and receive continued support throughout their journey toward stability, growth, and long-term success.
Licensed Residential Treatment
The Margie Barilla Foundation is proud to support access to licensed residential mental health treatment for children and adolescents ages 5–17 through two dedicated treatment centers: Haven Treatment Center in Vancouver, Washington, and Cornerstone Treatment Center in Fulton, Missouri.
Both centers provide safe, structured, and compassionate environments where youth experiencing mental health challenges can receive individualized care, therapeutic support, and the resources they need to heal, grow, and build a healthier future.
